Nesting Newborns collects information that families choose to share when they visit the website or submit a Request Care form. The Request Care form is designed to gather enough context to understand a care inquiry, respond thoughtfully, and consider possible next steps. It is not intended for urgent medical needs or for submitting medical records.

The form may collect identity and contact details such as first and last name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, and best time to contact you. Depending on how you prefer to be contacted, an email address or phone number may be required so we can respond.

The form also collects location and timing details, including city, ZIP code, family stage, important dates when provided, expected support timing, preferred start date when known, and a general estimate of how long support may be helpful. County is not requested on the current public form, though the request process may use location details to understand the service area.

Care-related information may include the types of support being considered, schedule preferences, schedule details, support priorities, general family details such as the number of babies when provided, referral source, additional notes, and your consent or acknowledgement before submission.

Families may also choose to contact Nesting Newborns outside the Request Care form by using the public email address listed on the website. If you email Nesting Newborns, the message may include your email address, the contents of your message, and any details you decide to include so the team can understand and respond to your question.

Please do not use the Request Care form to send medical records, diagnoses, or other sensitive clinical information. Questions about medical care should be directed to the appropriate licensed healthcare professional.

Nesting Newborns uses information submitted through the website to review Request Care submissions, understand what kind of support a family is looking for, contact families about their request, coordinate internal follow-up, respond to questions, operate and protect the website, and comply with applicable legal obligations where required. When analytics is enabled, Nesting Newborns also uses analytics information to understand general website usage.

Submitting a Request Care form does not create a care agreement or guarantee provider availability. Information from the form helps Nesting Newborns decide how to follow up and whether requested timing, location, schedule, and care preferences may align with available support.

The current website does not use Request Care information for automated eligibility decisions, AI profiling, data brokerage, advertising personalization, or automatic enrollment in marketing email lists.

When you submit a Request Care form, the website sends the form information to a server-side Request Care endpoint. The submission is checked for required fields, valid formats, allowed options, and basic size limits before it is stored or used for follow-up.

After validation, the information is stored using Nesting Newborns' database service provider. A notification may also be sent to authorized Nesting Newborns team members through an email delivery provider so the request can be reviewed and answered. Visitor-submitted contact information may be used as a reply-to address in that administrative notification, but it does not control the sender address or recipient list.

The Request Care form includes a hidden anti-spam field. If that field is filled out, the website may return a success response without storing the submission or sending an administrative notification.

Nesting Newborns uses service providers that help operate the website and Request Care process. Supabase provides database and storage infrastructure for Request Care submissions. Mailgun provides email delivery for administrative notifications related to those submissions. When analytics is enabled, Google provides website analytics and measurement through Google Analytics.

The website also depends on hosting and infrastructure providers. Those providers may process technical information needed to deliver, maintain, and secure the website.

When analytics is enabled, Nesting Newborns uses Google Analytics to understand general website usage, such as which pages are visited and whether the Request Care flow is working. Google Analytics may process technical information such as browser, device, page, and interaction information, and Google may use cookies or similar technologies depending on its configuration and a visitor's browser settings.

Request Care form contents are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics. When analytics is enabled and a Request Care inquiry is successfully stored, the website may send a minimal conversion event named request_care_submitted. That event does not include care-request details, names, email addresses, phone numbers, notes, ZIP codes, Supabase record IDs, or Mailgun information.

Nesting Newborns does not sell Request Care information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website, store submissions, or deliver communications. These providers process information for the purposes described in this policy.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, protect the website or business, address safety concerns, or enforce agreements. Nesting Newborns does not promise that information is never shared with anyone, because service-provider processing is part of the current Request Care workflow.

Nesting Newborns retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to requests, maintaining business records, coordinating internal follow-up, and meeting applicable legal obligations.

The current application does not implement an automatic deletion schedule for Request Care submissions. Retention needs may vary depending on the nature of the inquiry, follow-up, records needed for business purposes, and applicable obligations.

Nesting Newborns uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the website and Request Care process. The Request Care workflow validates submissions server-side, stores request information through the configured database provider, and sends administrative notifications through the configured email delivery provider.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Families should use care when deciding what information to submit through any website form, and should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive clinical information through the Request Care form.

Nesting Newborns provides newborn and family support services, but this website and the Request Care form are intended for adults making care inquiries. Children should not submit personal information directly through the website.

You may choose not to submit a Request Care form. If you have a general question, need help with the website, have a privacy question, or cannot or do not want to use the Request Care form, you may contact Nesting Newborns by email.

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted. We may need to retain certain information where reasonably necessary for legal, safety, or business-record purposes. Before responding to some requests, we may need enough information to understand and verify the request.

Nesting Newborns may update this Privacy Policy as services, website features, service providers, or information practices change. The Last updated date identifies the active version of this policy.
